No one can deny that Beatls has the greatest music in the last 50 years. Their music is always in our lives, from young to old...
One song from Beatles triggered my fear tonight.. It has been in my head for awhile.. I am afriad of being left alone...
"I'll Follow the Sun"
One day you'll look to see i've gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so i'll follow the sun.
Some day you'll know i was the one.
But tomorrow may rain, so i'll follow the sun.
And now the time has come
And so my love i must go.
And though i lose a friend,
In the end you'll know, oooh.
One day you'll find that i have gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so i'll follow the sun.
Yes, tomorrow may rain, so i'll follow the sun.
And now the time has come
And so my love i must go.
And though i lose a friend,
In the end you'll know, oooh.
One day you'll find that i have gone.
For tomorrow may rain, so i'll follow the sun.

Ocean
Ocean is beautiful today.. One of the good thing about living in this little beach town is I get to see Pacific whenever if I want to. The water was shiny beneath the sun. It looked peaceful.. I started wondering what's under the sea, how the deepest point looks like and who dumped that much salty water there? The idea of the all the unknowns amazed me... Well, I could have googled the answers, but nah, I rather let my mind go off leash, even just for 30 seconds..

Why is it 'Merry Chirstmas"?
So the phase originally was just only meant be pleasing and delightful, no bubbling over with holiday spirits added... With all the add-ups later on, I think John Lennon's "Happy Chirtmas" might be closer to my ideal spirit of Christmas..
Here is what I yahooed..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merry_Christmas
"Merry", derived from the Old English myrige, originally meant merely "pleasant, and agreeable" rather than joyous or jolly (as in the phrase "merry month of May").[2]
Though Christmas has been celebrated since the 4th century AD, the first known usage of any Christmastime greeting, dates back to 1565, when it appeared in The Hereford Municipal Manuscript: "And thus I comytt you to God, who send you a mery Christmas".[2] "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" (thus incorporating two greetings) was in an informal letter written by an English admiral in 1699. The same phrase is contained in the secular English carol "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", and the first Christmas card, produced in England in 1843.
Also in 1843, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol was published, during the mid Victorian revival of the holiday. The word Merry was then beginning to take on its current meaning of "jovial, cheerful, jolly and outgoing".[2] "Merry Christmas" in this new context figured prominently in A Christmas Carol. The cynical Ebenezer Scrooge rudely deflects the friendly greeting: "If I could work my will.. every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding".[3] After the visit from the Ghosts of Christmas affect his transformation, Scrooge exclaims; "I am as merry as a school-boy. A merry Christmas to everybody!", and heartily exchanges the wish to all he meets.[4] The instant popularity of A Christmas Carol, the Victorian era Christmas traditions it typifies, and the term's new meaning appearing in the book, Dickens' tale popularized the phrase "Merry Christmas

"Morris Dictionary of Word and Phrase Origins" by William and Mary Morris (HarperCollins, second edition, 1977) "Merrie England. England of the Anglo-Saxon period and the Middle Ages was not a very happy place to be, let alone 'merrie.' So why this phrase indicating revelry and joyous spirits, as if England were one perpetual Christmastime? The answer is that the word 'merrie' originally meant merely 'pleasing and delightful,' not bubbling over with festive spirits, as it does today. The same earlier meaning is found in the famous expression, 'the merry month of May.'"

Happy Index
Yahoo came out a new list of happy states.. This year, the survey added up one more question "How satisfy you are with your life?" I think Minnesotan might not have a good score on that question. It dropped from #1 to #26, Louisiana is a surprised #1. Other two beach states, Hawaii and Florida are #2&3.... sadly, Cali is only #46. I think people are more stressed in Cali.. Beach is here, sunshine is here, but not too many people know how to relax.. Instead, heavy traffic, unaffordable housing and material driven usually drive people nuts....
So today, I am going to sit at back yard, and do nothing.. maybe I can give a higher score if you ask me how satisfy I am with my life... One thing learned from this survey, my happiness counts only if I say so..

Christmas
Love is love.. find it, have it, keep it and give it back... that's the Christmas spirit... And Christmas is not that commercial at all if you see things from the other side..
So be happy Charlie Brown... bottom line, Christmas is all about a new-born baby, a big old guy wearing red with smile on him always, a reindeer named Rudolph with a red nose, some hot coco, love and be merry.
I sounded like Linus, I know.. once awhile Lucy needs to listen to her younger brother.

Both of my #1s are in my blue cafe, thanks to the car issue and girl problem... Car problem sucks, and girl problem is worse... I might need to add some hard liquor to their coffee... well, hmm.. never saw T drinking coffee before.. maybe just shots then... Those two turn to be happier after getting some buzz..
Went to Walmart print out our xmas pictures... All I can say is I miss Target! Well, I understand the need of having a Walmart, cuz they are everywhere.... But I don't understand.. Don't all the trendy OC peeps (supposely) need a trendy store like Target here, too?

Winter Wonderland
Xmas songs are always my favorite... Actually, the whole package of xmas is! I just love December.. Driving in the car, listening to non-stop xmas music..
Heard this one today, while driving on hwy 5 in Sunny California.. Where is the winter wonderland, quiet night with white snow covering? I start missing my little snowy state... well, like I do always...
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland.

Blue..
